Oscar Night, Work for CMTV14, Hispanic Food Network

Hey all, hey all --

We've got three announcements for you:
ONE:
The next week brings the Oscars, which means--that's right!--Oscar parties:

Beth Bollinger of KNIFVES sent us this message about the North Idaho group's KNIFVES KNight Out for the Oscars in Liberty Lake:

KNIFVES KNight Out for the Oscars! – March 7th, 6pm

KNIFVES will be hosting a networking and social gathering on Sunday, March
7th for all members and their guests during this year’s Oscar telecast.
There is no cost to attend or need to register for this event to be held at
All Sports Bar & Grill in Liberty Lake starting at 6 pm until the awarding
of Best Picture. Food and drinks will be the responsibility of each member.
Children are welcome at All Sports till 10pm.

All Sports Bar & Grill
1803 North Harvard Road
Liberty Lake, WA 99019

From Idaho it is the 2nd exit in Washington, you go through the light after
exiting the highway and it is on the right on the Northeast corner of the
intersection with Indiana Ave. From Spokane, exit Liberty Lake, go North
over the bridge and highway and turn left at the light.

If you should have any questions please feel free to contact Ivan Calhoun
at 208-946-6621 or icalhoun@clan-creative.com.

You can wear formal wear if you want but Ivan and his kids are wearing
jeans.

There are plenty of other parties in town, as well. The Spokane AIDS Network is holding a fundraising Oscar Night Gala at Northern Quest Casino -- complete with a raffle and auction.

 TWO:
Community-Minded Television is hiring a Production Coordinator. Use your experience in the film industry to help grow local TV production!

Check out their ad on Craigslist for a complete list of qualifications and duties, and to find out how to apply.

THREE:
A few weeks ago, the Inlander published a great article on some local filmmakers working hard to put together a local Hispanic cooking television show.

Find out what KXLY morning host Mike Gonzalez and few others are doing in "We Kinda Need a Mexican."

We'll have more info on our upcoming Film Theory Panel in the next week or two.

Have a great week!
