This Friday is Irish Day at the MAC


Hey all! Whether your irish yourself or not, be sure to go to the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture (2316 W. First Avenue, Spokane, Washington) tomorrow night for:

"The Rambling Irishman- Irish Film, Literature, Song, and Dance"

Featuring The Hard Road to Klondike film by Desmond Bell
Friday, September 18, 5:30-8:30 pm
(Reception 5:30 pm, Film Program 6:45-8:30 pm)

The Hard Road to Klondike (Travels from Ireland to Butte, the Klondike Gold Rush, and back in the 1890s.) Film by Desmond Bell from the book by Mickey MacGowan.

Readings and Musical accompaniment by Ruby Devine and Steven Schneider Abair Amhrán, traditional sean nós singing from Irish television network TG4

Irish Set Dancing Demonstration and Instruction with live Ceilidh band

Reception with hors d’oeuvres and No host Wine

Event admission is free to MAC members, $7.00 admission charge for all others, which includes one complimentary beverage of choice for those paying admission!
