July's Meet-Up Quick Notes

A big thanks to all who showed up to the July Meet-Up, we received a lot of great feedback on the group and are excited with the upcoming events we discussed and are starting to plan. A couple of reminders...

The Magic Lantern is under new ownership, and the new owner is not only a great guy who will continue to provide us access to the theaters for events, but he's also excited to get involved with some upcoming events too! Keep an eye out for updates on events happening at the Lantern.

We will not be having a panel discussion in August, BUT, we will be meeting for another social gathering on the last Tuesday of August, the 25th. We are looking forward to Spokane Public Schools and our local colleges being back in session and seeing more students join us then!

Since the Meet-Up last night turned into a open planning meeting, we will skip the open to all committee planning meeting tomorrow night, and I will be sending out updates on what was discussed last night in an email to follow.
